This is the original and very first recorded version ever of our song Little Pity. Written late 2004 @ 2am after a few beers and jamming on a riff based on the open G tuning , recorded on an old Behringer 4 channel mixer and vocal mic. John and I had just returned from living in Melbourne and were reflecting on how things were and what was going to happen with the band seeing as at that time we had mostly played as an acoustic duo in Melbourne and found it very hard to put a band together... plus the fact that relationships with our girlfriends of the time had broken down too and we decided to head back to Darwin to our comfort zone...There are a few live versions of this song but i feel this one captures the whole moment and sensitivity in Johns singing the best...The additional sounds and beats (made using the guitar body) are a little loose and add a nice atmosphere to the song... Hope you enjoy the rawness and depth of such a beautiful little song :)
